A Six Sigma Blackbelt with 15 years experience, working at both tactical and strategic levels within private and multinational organisations. Maria has worked in various industries including Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Medical Device, Commercial and Chemical, performing the following roles:
- Engineering: Design Engineer, Projects Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer
- Blackbelt: 6-Sigma Blackbelt
- Managerial: Continuous Improvement & Quality
Marias’ style ensures that tremendous energy is brought to improve processes. As a certified Trainer, she engages trainees to enjoy the training experience and also ensures that the trainee can apply practical tools upon immediate return to the working environment.
Maria has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Limerick, both of which enhance the practical nature of the services provided. She has certificates in the both Health and Safety (Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety National Irish Safety Organisation) and Quality (Certified Internal Auditor, NSAI). Over her career, she has attended a range of training courses including Design for Six Sigma, Kaizen Event Training, Total Quality Management (TQM), Leadership Training, Lean Assessment and Coaching using the GROW model. Maria is also a mamber of ASQ.
